Dirtlegs by Forrest Attaway

Some Texas women and their interest in love

If I knew for a fact that this was put together in one week as a substitute offering, then I admire what they accomplished.

The dating-tape monologues were my favorite parts. I thought each actor did an excellent job of presenting her monologue in an entertaining way, fully in character.

The first acting scenes seemed less polished. I thought cues could have been picked up better, and lines could have been delivered with more connection and honesty. Later in the piece the acting scenes flowed more naturally for me.

Dusty was my favorite character, very strong actor in all her acting scenes. Gretchen didnít handle the drunk physicality in a believable way, but the rest of her acting played honestly to me.

I liked the ending montage.
