Sing, Sing Sing Lives Up To Its Title

Sing, Sing, Sing is a light and fun “a cappella” revue,
singing mainly standard songs with a few surprises thrown
in.

The audience enjoyed the "Snap, Crackle, Pop" audience
participation song and I particularly liked the “Ode to
Billy Joe” and “Put the Lime in the Coconut”. One big
surprise that got everyone laughing was the song written
by local actor Paul E. Orrick, “Bachelor’s Overture”.

I didn’t like all of the song selections, but there are
some very talented singers and performances.

The presentation is uneven and they need better
transitions between some songs, but that may be picky
under the circumstances. Overall, the 45 minutes went
quickly and I enjoyed it.

Through July 25th at Heartland Forum in Crown Center.
