Snaps for Poetic Underground

An Evening of poetry is a delightful way to wind down after an eventful day and Poetic underground presents just that. It is a relaxing atmosphere with at times, intense poetry. This is not a program for a younger audience so it would be best to leave them at home. The program changes every night and is definitely worth looking into.

During this particular show we were treated to the stylings of Miss Conception, Rue, and Resonance. The program was very good if not off to a slightly rocky start. Still it was a very good night of poetry. The poets bared their souls through their words and in some cases through ink and hula hoops. Through this they all gave a very spirited representation of their own thoughts and feelings. It was truly a beautiful thing.

If you are looking for a good way to wind down after an evening of theater, check out the Poetic Underground. It is an intense showing of the various poets hearts and souls. If you are at all interested in poetry or simply spoken word, this is the show for you. Also again, leave the kids at home as the language is at times harsh and quite aggressive.
