5 out of 5
On Tuesday, July 23rd, I got my mind blown, and my world caved in on itself while I watched "The Submarine Show" with fully-bated breath. Jared and Slater's show is absolutely not to be missed. A truly wonderful, spectacular, awe-inspiring, and dangerously-close-to-perfect production, this show will captivate you, strangle you, kill you, and resurrect you; and it will make you say "thank you" when it's done.
The Artistry, gripping and thoughtful, marks this show as one of the best productions that the KC Fringe has seen...in years. These performers hone their clown craft with expertise. The clever, precise, and unadulterated comedy will have you in stitches. And the performers say "It's so sad because its a great art form, and its dying." Please, for the love of humanity, don't die, clowns. We need your faces, noises, miming, and acrobats!
I can't. I just can't explain to you anymore that if you don't go see this production, you deserve to be hit. I will hit you if you don't go see this production. If this is not the best show in the ENTIRE FESTIVAL, I will consider giving body parts away to see the best production. But that kind of commitment is not required of either of us. It's only $10! You will not regret it.
If this piece does not make it into the Fringe Hangover, fairies will lose their wings...puppies will die. Babies will stop smiling. Joy all over Kansas City will deflate like a clown balloon, and happiness will sulk and whimper as it stumbles into the darkness to die.
Hsidndfjdndhsjsoskdbchrbcbusksosbdh. Don't be stupid. Go see this show, and pay homage to the classic art form of clowning. Thank you, California, for letting us borrow your performers.
